DESCRIPTION:Rand Road Warriors is an Edenvale based community running club that caters for all types of runners. In the heart of Edenvale the club trains from Monday to Sunday with various training groups from:\nGROUP A “SILVER LININGS”\nSilver Linings (Group A – Elite Runners 4:40 to 6:15 minutes per km)\nThis is our Elite Group of runners and they run at a pace of 4:50 to 6:15 minutes per kilometre.\nGROUP B – “INTERMEDIATE”\nIntermediate (Group B – Running at a pace of 6 to 7:15 minutes per km)\nOur Intermediate Runners run between three to four times a week with some cross training thrown in between and one day a week of rest. Their distances vary from 5km to 42km runs and run at a pace of 6 to 7:00 minutes per kilometre.\nGROUP C – “SWATT”\nSWATT (Group C – Beginners Couch to 5km at 7 minutes per km)\nThis is our Beginners Group taking you from the couch to a 5km run. SWATT stands for Sprinters, Walkers and Trash Talkers. This group will take you from a walk / run to running a 5km at a 7 minute per kilometre pace.\n
